Shrewsbury is home to one of the UK’s best flower shows in the form of the Shrewsbury Flower Show that is host to a variety of stunning flower displays, local foods, arena displays and of course the famous Firework display. The display happens over the River Severn and is best viewed from one of our canoes with a bottle of your favourite drink!
Arrive at around half 7 to ensure you get on the water allowing you to see sunset before floating down towards the Quarry Park and Porthill Bridge to see the fire works display, we will have a team of safety boats on the water to ensure you know what’s happening and when to be in position.
We normally have a “Light up your canoe” competition where people are encouraged to wear fancy dress and light up their canoes in theme of their choice potentially winning the big prize to be announced soon!
